Tree Trimming in Tercentenary Theater
Body

Campus Services is taking advantage of the Winter Recess to get ready for the upcoming semester. Workers have been busy with tasks that are much easier to perform with fewer people on campus. Landscape Services arborists have been trimming the lofty trees in Tercentenary Theater outside Memorial Church. This can be challenging work and a wide area is needed to ensure a safe environment for everybody. Just a few steps away on the Science Center Plaza, Landscape Services is also building the ever-popular WinterFest.

Running January 26th through March 9th, WinterFest is a great way to enjoy the cold winter months! Enjoy seasonal games including curling, ice bowling, and ice shuffleboard or year-round favorites including ping-pong, illuminated cornhole, or giant chess! Warm up and make your own s'mores next to one of our fire pits. Food trucks will be on the Plaza daily for lunch and dinner for purchase. S'mores and hot drinks will be available in our WinterFest trailer on select days, free of purchase while supplies last! Learn more on the Common Spaces website.

Caring for the campus, and its people, is at the heart of everything Campus Services does and our employees are integral to that goal.
